This Privacy Policy describes how BullseyeGames (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and handles information in connection with the mobile application GeoKnow (“the App”) on Android and iOS.
GeoKnow does not require you to create an account and does not ask for your name, email address, or other information that directly identifies you. The information described below is either stored locally on your device or collected in an anonymous form as described in this policy.
Your game progress, experience points, statistics, unlocked content, language preference, and settings are stored locally on your device. This data remains under your control and can be erased at any time using the “Delete Data” option in the App’s Settings screen.
To understand how the App is used and to improve it, we collect anonymous gameplay analytics at the end of each game session. This data is not linked to your real identity and includes:
This analytics data is transmitted securely and stored on our backend provider, Supabase. The country code is determined using the third-party service ipapi.co based on your IP address; we do not store your IP address.
The App displays rewarded advertisements through Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google AdMob may collect and process certain information, including your device’s advertising identifier and interaction data, in accordance with Google’s own privacy policy. You can learn more at https://policies.google.com/privacy, and you can manage or reset your advertising identifier in your device settings.
The App integrates Google Play Games Services to provide achievements and leaderboards. If you are signed in to Google Play Games on your device, your gameplay achievements and leaderboard scores may be associated with your Google Play Games profile, as handled by Google. This is optional and managed by Google Play Games, not by us.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent purposes. Anonymous data is processed by the service providers we rely on to run the App — namely Google (AdMob and Play Games Services), Supabase (analytics storage), and ipapi.co (country lookup) — solely to provide their respective functions.
Locally stored data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. Anonymous analytics records are retained on our backend for as long as needed for analytical purposes.
You can erase all locally stored data (progress, statistics, and settings) at any time using the “Delete Data” option in the App’s Settings screen. Because our analytics data is fully anonymous and not tied to your identity, it cannot be traced back to an individual user. GeoKnow is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information that identifies children. Because the App displays advertising and collects anonymous analytics, we encourage parents and guardians to supervise their children’s use of the App. If you believe a child has provided us with information in a way that raises a concern, please contact us.
All data transmitted from the App to our backend and service providers is encrypted in transit using secure (HTTPS/TLS) connections.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
